XP 320®
The XP 320® is a smaller capacity engine designed for aircraft such as the VANS RV9, which require an engine in the 150-160 HP category.
It has all the characteristics of the XP 360 of which more than 800 have been sold world wide. Indeed it is built on the same crankcase with the same cylinder heads and valve gear as well as sharing the same accessories. The capacity is reduced by a shorter stroke crankshaft and cylinder barrels. As a result it is 11lbs lighter than the XP 360® and one and a half inches narrower, so where spce is restricted it can be used with a smaller cowling.
As with the XP360® all the parts of the XP320® are FAA approved for use on equivalent certified engines.
The XP-360®
Created from the most advanced designs and manufacturing techniques and individually designed by craftsmen, the XP-360 Engine® is truly the power for the next millenium.

The XP-360-Plus®
Builders of today's high-performance aircraft have been saking for an engine that delivers the same advanced design, manufacturing and performance found in the popular 180 horsepower XP-360 Engine® but with the latest piston engine technology.
Race Proven Performance
At the heart of the Xp-360-Plus are revolutionary new cams and roller lifter designs, which are based on proven automotive racing technology.
The new roller cams feature much more efficient lob profile that offers many performance advantages over a standard flat tappet cam. For example, the new cams have better low end torque and idle, while the high end performance is equal to that of a cam with a much longer duration.
This allows the valve to open and close at a much faster rate. And while this exposes the cylinder to the port for a shorter period of time, it creates much more volumme. The result is much greater operational efficiency.
